What are your biggest planning concerns?

For me it's vendors flaking on us or not following our wishes. Gives me major anxiety. It's so bad it actually makes me not want a wedding at all!

We have had venues fall through on us because after we booked a bigger wedding approached them so they took the bigger wedding and cancelled ours, an officiant double book for our ceremony time and a few other small things with my current fiance.

During the planning of my first wedding: the florist decided she didn't like the black center in the Gerbera daisies I had picked and decided I was wrong in despising babies breath so she just went ahead did all the flowers with yellow centers and babaies breath EVERYWHERE. And our DJ played songs that we had expressly asked NOT to be played - lots of sexual content and swearing - with a bunch of kids from ages 2-10 in the room.

Those are just a few of my examples.

So. What's your worry?

    My only concern right now is the weather which I know is stupid. I have zero control over the weather but its March in NS so very unpredictable.

    There's a clause in the photographer contract that we get a full refund if they "fail to appear." UM, WHAT??? I know it's just one of those things you have to address in the contract, but still... if my photographer failed to appear they better relocate to a distant country under an assumed name.

    I'm worried that my vendors are going to flake. That's seriously where my anxiety hangs around and I don't thnk I'll feel better until the wedding day when (hopefully) no one flakes.

    My biggest concern is my own family not coming. I have a small family in comparison to my FH, and it bugs me a little that the size difference in the family we have invited is pretty significant. Also my family is more likely to RSVP no

    My biggest worry is that people will think it’s too plain. My family are very easy going and plain Jane -don’t spend the money if you don’t have to type people. My fiancé’s family are more lavish and extravagant. I worry they will think I’m super cheap. I’ve already spent way more than I thought I would to improve the look but I know it isn’t quite what they would go for

    That sounds terrible! There are so many things that might go wrong... For me, I'm worried about my family and my partner's family. We were "required" to invite some family members we don't talk to (on both our sides) and maybe 3 or 4 of them are homophobic. So... Yeah. I'm not looking forward to that. I hope everything goes fine and they mind their own business but it sucks we have to invite folks that don't support us.

    That’s horrible! MY biggest concern is ending up regretting a vendor I hired for some reason.

    Wow that is horrible of a florist to do!!! And playing a do not play listed song would drive me NUTS!!!
    I think my biggest concern is forgetting something and having all my vendors organized.... I'm strongly considering a month of coordinator now just to be that extra head thinking about everything!

    I can't believe your florist did that!!! Pretty ballsey! Im on my 2nd Florist b/c our 1st florist is sick unfortunately. Our Invitations were late, we had to hire a new Photographer b/c the 1st one flaked. I feel your pain! For me its Wedding day timeline. Trying to figure out hair & makeup for 9 of us to be Photographed by 2pm. Limo pick up times. 1 big concern I have is my Grandmother. My Grandma will be 99 on Wednesday. Unfortunately she has been having chest pain recently. If my Grandma can't come to the Wedding then I must find a way to see her in my dress. We are also awaiting my Future Mother In Laws triple by pass. She was in the Hospital all through the Holidays for 1 month because she had a heart attack. I notice shes a little confused... It's a lot.
