We're going the edible route with a candy bar

We haven't made a firm decision on favours yet. Since it's a cocktail reception and not everyone has a seat, I was thinking of including a packet of flower seeds in the thank you card that we send out after. Or no favours at all. Hmm not sure

I wanted to do coffee/tea favours in little bags but they are so hard to find!

My aunt is making mini biscotti for our guests!

We are doing small vanilla scented candles that we got from https://www.weddingfavours.ca/

We figured people usually enjoy candles and they forget them or don't want them then we can always use them ourselves

Homemade wine!! We made it at home and bottle in 350ml bottles so every person will get one! We designed and printed the labels and tags as well!

We met on match.com so thought it would be cute to do a matchbook. WeddingStar has them - super cute and very affordable. We may still do something else to go with it, maybe homemade candles.

I'm not Dutch, but this sounds like a neat idea.

We are doing wild flower seeds

We are doing small little vanilla candles with a personalized stickers on them. We figured if people don't take their favours then we can always use vanilla candles and wouldn't mind having extra ones around. Plus they are quite practical so hopefully people will want them.

We had potted plants as our centrepieces and they were also the favour.

Everyone here seems to love them a lot so we thought we might as well (we're both Dutch) but as the other ones look fancier we add the mini King peppermint rolls to it most likely. I'm not sure if you can get the mini stroopwafels here but there's online stores for sure

I'm Dutch and I cannot believe that I didn't think of having mini stroopwafels as wedding favours! What a good idea.

I originally wanted to give little jars of honey, buy FH really wants to give wildflower seed packets, so we're going with that even though it's not edible, I think it's still something people will use.

We are doing something similar to this - our dog's name is Honey and we wanted to include a little bit of her into our day

We're going to be giving out homemade caramel popcorn!

Im thinking of macarons or wine stopper.

This is what we chose to give as favours at our reception. It was simple and just perfect for use at home.

Home made wine!

Beer can coolers! Something that pretty much all the guests will use and not just for the wedding!

Candy bar treats and maple syrup.

We did Lindor chocolates in organza bags in our colours (burgundy, blush, ivory and gold). I ended up DIYing the tags on gold paper.

We are doing homemade chocolate chip cookies. Our plan is to make them ourselves, and family members have volunteered as well. It's quick, easy and delicious!

How much did your favors cost? Did you make the soap yourselves? Where did you get the boxes from? I'm thinking of doing the same thing but I'm not sure if it's cheaper to DIY soaps or to buy them!

We will be giving out organic and vegan soaps in cute red boxes.
