What are you doing the day AFTER you say 'I do'?

Joey, on March 2, 2018 at 08:05 Posted in Just married 0 20

Once the cake has been cut, the dances danced, and the guests sent home with their favors, what will you get up to? Are you hosting a post-wedding breakfast? Are you heading off to your honeymoon, or on a mini-moon? Is it right back to work? What are you doing the day after your wedding?

Hosting a post-wedding brunch for the wedding party, parents, and any other guests who would like to attend would be ideal!

Several of our guests were staying at the property in their trailers so we had a big camping breakfast and then we did some tear down and clean up and relaxed in the evening.

We will be spending the day together just us. His mom wants us to spend the day with them and opening up gifts but we decided to spend the day as a married couple and taking it easy.

My parents are throwing a BBQ lunch at their place. They have a pool and it'll be summer so it should be a nice day to have couple of beers and relax.

We will probably do a breakfast at my moms for family from out of town.... And thenwe will head over to FH moms place to clean up. Annnnd if we have any leftover beer in the kegs we plan on having an 'afterparty' with any out of town guests that are still there and finish the kegs off Smiley smile

We are inviting our out of town guests out for brunch. Then, we are heading back to the hotel for another night before heading off for our mini-moon!

We both discussed sleeping for the first 24 hours of our married life, the either going on a honeymoon or going somewhere local for a few days to just relax

It's so far away still that we haven't thought about that yet.

What I'm picturing though is a very late brunch with immediate family, witnesses and out-of-town friends before everybody goes their separate ways.

We’ve got a hotel booked for our wedding night and the night after, so we’re going to take it easy, get some room service, and chill out before we leave for our honeymoon.

We're getting married on a Saturday so the Sunday after we might be doing a post-wedding brunch with family since most of them are from out of town and we don't see them a lot. Other than that, we'll probably relax for a few days since later in the week we'll fly off to our honeymoon!

We'll be taking it easy in a mini-moon hotel in Toronto. We've booked a show (Theatre) to go to in the afternoon.

We're doing our own decor for the wedding so in the morning we have to get back to the venue to tear down, but it won't be hard we'll have lots of help! Then we're booking it to PEI to spend a few days relaxing on the beach before we go back to work. Smiley smile

We are getting married in Jamaica, so we will probably be spending the day with our guests as it will be the last day before they head back to Canada the next day (then we will spend another week there on our own).

We decided to bite the bullet and spend another day in the mountains to relax. My friend will be traveling from Australia for our wedding so I will be spending lots of time with her so we will take the one day to relax and take it all in!

I haven't even really thought about this. We check out of our hotel around 11am i think. I assume we are just going home after that, hole up together for the day and just relax.

Were getting married on a long weekend. So the next day (Sunday) we will be taking it easy, most likely recovering lol. Monday we will be hosting a post wedding brunch for family only.

We're heading out to Whistler with our out of country friends who we don't get to see very often to hang out for a few days.

I’m hoping to have a nice relaxing morning with my new hubby. In actuality, we’ll likely be out at my parents’ house with some of my extended family that’s flying out from England since I don’t see them often. Not before noon though, after dancing till midnight we’re gonna be tired!
