What are creative alternatives for a guest book?

I'm not sure whether to have a guest book or a creative alternative. The only thing I've come across is a bride having a garden bench for all the guests to sign. What other great ideas have you seen?

    I had friends who got married and had a large photo of them printed and then people signed the areas around it!

    UNFORTUNATLEY.... I was very drunk by the time I got to the signing and wrote "Happy consummation!" on it...

    They laughed thankfully...

    I love the thumb print idea! I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate that somehow into ours!

    We had one where people made their thumb prints into little drawings and signed their names.

    We have the love hearts and I think we will do a photo book with spaces for people to write beside too.

    We have a piece of dissected rough ash from a tree that was cut down. We plan on having our guests sign it and then having it varnished for a potholder or a nice serving platter.

    We're doing something similar to this. Shadow box with mini hearts. Ours will just be the mini hearts though, it won't have the circle in the middle like this one does.

    We are doing a year book type this and having everyone sign around our pictures (we left white spaces in between). It turned out beautiful! We used shutterfly

    We are doing a white mat over one of the engagement photos that everyone can sign.Once the wedding is done we will have it framed.

    There are lots of options, as stated previously! One I’ve seen is a wooden tree and each leaf is a heart for guests to sign. The couple wrote “please sign a heart for our little piece of art”

    We had our photographer create a canvas of one of our engagement photos. Our guests will write in the white hearts.

    There are so many options! Puzzle pieces, hearts in a shadow box, Jenga boards....

    Depending on what your theme is, that can decide what you will have as your guest book. My theme was travel so we purchased a large world map mounted on wooden board, and had everyone sign it with sharpies. Definitely looking forward to putting that up in our living room!

    We are doing picture frames Smiley smile maybe 2, that way we will see them always and have it stashed away somewhere that will never see the light of day again Smiley smile

    My favourite so far, besides the traditional book, is a poster of the couple (or a cute saying) that your guests sign on. Sorta like this one, on Etsy:
