Weekday weddings!

I wanted to get married on like a random Tuesday, in the morning, with a brunch to follow. I have no idea why, just a weird quirk, I guess. But I've had to settle for a Friday.

Anyone having a weekday wedding? Why'd you choose it and what's your plan?

Unfortunately our family can't take the time off during the week so we have had to settle for a late Friday. 😞

Why do you have to settle! I'm all for weekday morning weddings.
In another life ours would totally be a Thursday wedding...I see the days of the week in colour and I've always thought of Thursday, as my favourite colour purple.

We are getting married on a Friday and I wouldn’t change it at all!
I knew I wanted to have a fall wedding and we were open to dates. We always go away for thanksgiving so that’s our little get away after the wedding.
Like Stephanie said there’s more time to recover after a Friday wedding!

I really wanted to do a Friday, or even a random weekday, I run my own business as a tattoo artist and build my own schedule. I love being thrifty, but I took my FH into account and the majority of our guests and decided on a Saturday!!! FULL PRICE! Lol I hate not being thrifty, because I work for myself, every penny counts but I sometimes have to make compromises with a spouse!

Were doing Friday too!!! We really wanted May 24 and I wasnt willing to wait another year hahah! Plus fridays are a lot less expensive and then you have a full 2 days to heal after haha!!! Also the weekend before the wedding is a holiday so already get the money off and only need to take 4 days off work!
