Wedding website password

Christy, on March 15, 2017 at 23:22 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 7
So I've got a password set up for my guests to use when they go to rsvp on my website. A few brides have said that guests can get in to the website without needing a password if you give them a certain link? How do I do this ? Would be nice for the guests not to have to enter a password but still have the website private from anyone else.

Hi Christy, this is not a functionality we have on our website unfortunately. Once you put something private or password protected on your website, you have to share the password with your guests. Let me know if this answers your question! Smiley winking

There is apparently a way to protect your website with a password and if you give guests some "direct link entered in URL address box, it does not require them to have to enter the password. Anybody else trying to get in will be prompted to enter a pswd. I can't figure out how to do this ? I would like to protect my page with a password but would also like to give my guests a direct link where they don't have to enter a password, If that makes sense 🤔

I believe you have to do it in settings or privacy settings. Then maybe get one of your guests to test and see if it works and requires a password to get in.
