Wedding Website and Guest List

Jasmine, on January 16, 2023 at 15:08 Posted in Tech support 0 4

Hi, two questions on website and guest list set up.

I created my guest list on the main site and created my wedding website where I currently only have the Save the date ready to go.

Does anyone know what happens when you click on "share via guest list" from the wedding website? Does it take you to another page to choose the next steps and THEN send or does it automatically share the link with the guest list?

How does it share the invite if I have entered guests with + 1s but contact info entered only for guests - does it tell guest that their +1 is invited?

Thanks!

    Thanks Julie!

Got my save the date out yesterday, I ended up using the link with direct communication instead of from the site. Will have to test out the invitation itself in a few weeks.

Now onto the next task! Good luck collecting your RSVPs!

If you are hitting Message Guests, it will bring you to your invite. Save and Send button will not send to everyone. Will take you to what the email invite will look like and let you select the guests to send to. I was worried too and had to test it out. Just sent out my wedding evite to a select few. Works great!

I believe it takes you to a new window to edit before sending out.

you can always try a dry run with just yourself on it or a bridesmaid Smiley smile
