Wedding Website

Mahsa, on October 10, 2019 at 16:08 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 5

Hi all,

I originally created a website on the knot which I'm not quite done with. I then decided to order my invitation from the minted and I want to get their all in one card where guest can either mail back RSVP or register on my website.

I have some questions:

a) Should I be using the mint website to make the RSVP easier?

b) Any reviews on the minted or other site?

c) I got my own website on go daddy can I use that URL for the minted? I used it for knot and it worked

d) It is a bad idea to give both online RSVP and mail version option?

e) Which website helps with seating plan and such..

Thanks

You can order regular invites and then on the rsvp portion tell them to go to the website. that way mail doesnt get lost and you wont have to pay for postage

We didn't end up doing save the dates - but if we were going to it would have just been a postcard from vista print

Thanks guys...I looked at minted and they have this all in one card where you rip the bottom and mail back. I'll see if they can include my website for that portion.

How did you guys send your save the date? Which software you used? I just want to include a picture of us on template and mail it.

    A) I would just have a link to the site on your website personally

    b) Don't really know what minted is to be fair

    c) see ^

    d) I would only give online option/ your phone number or email to avoid snail mail as well as any confusion

    e) Weddingwire is AMAZING for putting the seating chart together!!!

Your options are great both ways for the reasons given

    A. Now generation that follow the technology will find it easier to reply on your website so you can know who is confirmed and declined.

    B. Older generation may find it easier to respond back with the card since they may not have any access to the laptop/computer. They could get assistance to reply online if their children/grand children helped them out.

Keep the RSVP cards limiting to whom you know would know it as a back up for them to mail back.
