Wedding Tips - what vendors

There is a youtube video on tipping vendors that categorise Do, Optional and Not Required. Amounts are also mentioned to give ideas on how much for each.

Catering - only the people who come to drop off and serve at our venue but not the company as a whole.
Decor - we are doing our own but if we weren't then we would only tip if they help set up.
Photographer/Videographer - only if they worked for a company of photographers/videographers and were assigned to us.
Hair and makeup - we are doing our own, but if we weren't then I would only tip if they were working for a company of Hair & MUA's and not solo people.

DJ or venue facilitator if they where included in your venue fee - only if they do a good job and the most I will be tipping any of the vendors if $50/head.
Bus (yellow school bus drivers - shuttle drivers) - yes but only if they are working for a company.

Flowers - no, as they usually charge for delivery so there is nothing that they are doing that is above and beyond other than completing their part of the contract.

Cake - same as flowers.

Overall I will only be tipping when they aren't self employed (those people chose their prices), and if they do a good job. At that, I don't have the kind of money to pay a % so I will be doing $50/person at most but if they only do a mediocre job then maybe $20 will be good enough.

Our venue is all inclusive and has the tip already into the price per plate. So that covers our servers, catering etc. I am very big on tipping if people go above and beyond. Right now I have tips set aside for our florist, officiant and photographer, but that is pretty much everyone outside of our venue!

We will be tipping catering- based on how well the meal is and quality, hair/makeup, dj. I want to see how all it goes and decide from there as well.
