Colours as your complimentary and white as neutral. The pink if you feel is not suited, a nice blush replace it as your brining in the outdoors into the indoors theme.

Colour wheel theory is a good place to start. You can choose complementary vs contrasting colours for different types of impact.

Another factor you may want to look at is pricing as things will have different costs for different colours. For example, if you're aiming for Green and want to use its complementary colour of Red, red roses wouldn't be hard to source nor would it be that pricey due to wide demand and availability. But if you're aiming to accent it using, say blue, it would be more difficult.
