Wedding theme

It's a curse and a blessing. But Pinterest. Haha

We are doing a destination wedding so our theme is the beach. Lol. So predictable and unoriginal but the laid back theme is very much us and that's what we are going for.

I chose the color nude for the dress of my bridesmaids and I think I'll put some lavender in the deco as well mix it a little bit.

Our wedding will be very casual

My fiance and I picked out our colors and Emilie put a post about the Great Gatsby theme. We both checked it out and decided to go with that theme for our wedding reception. I noticed that you mentioned that your colors are beige gold and creme which is a very nice choice.

Do you think you might add some lace, or antique touches? or maybe some metal features to bring in the modern/ industrial contrast?

PS I love Orchids- If they were easier to grow at home I would probably have picked them too!

Yes im backI wanted to take A break from wedding planning because it was too Much for me.
My flowers are white orchids and My reception venue is in the middle of A garden . My palette Colors are light Colors.

I totally agree with Melissa!! We came across our theme "by accident" as well. We just started picking things we liked and boom... a theme started to emerge

I think you come by your theme by accident! I started picking things I liked for colour, decorations, locations and then I was like, well geeze, this looks like a mix of urban and natural elements.

I think if you feel ike your theme is modern vintage, it probably is! What elements have you chosen that lead you to notice the trend in your plans?

Your theme really depends on what ideas and elements you prefer for your big day. You can get those form inspiration boards, you can also start from decorations or accessories you already bought...

Or if you already chose your wedding dress, you can also have a theme that goes with your dress' style!
