Wedding speeches

We had the Maid of Honour, Best Man, his mom, my mom and dad (I thought they were doing one together but they did separate ones).

Our speech was just thanking everyone who came, who helped out, and our vendors.

I honestly have no idea who will. My mom is shy and already told me that she doesn't want to and I haven't spoken to anyone else about this (who wants to and who doesn't want to give a speech).

My Man of Honour will speak, as will my Maid of Honour. My dad will want to speak, as will my fiance's. Neither of our mothers will want to, and his Best Woman also will not want to. I will speak on behalf of the two of us, since my fiance is pretty shy.

Because we're so low on speeches, I have actually considered having an "open mic", where anyone can come up and speak for a MAXIMUM of two minutes. My Man of Honour LOVES this idea, which is exciting because he works in the events industry and has worked at about a million weddings, so the fact that he's on board means it either works or is unique.

I thought it was each set of parents, the MOH, the Best Man, and the Groom. However my FH gets anxiety when he thinks about doing speeches (hence no personalized vows), so it may be a mix between both of us. My mom also said that it's not the parents who toast the bride and groom, just someone who knows you well? Which I'd never heard before...

My parents are also divorced, but my dad may not want to do a speech... but if he does, I guess I'll have my dad, my mom/step dad, my FH's parents, MOH, Best Man, and Us.

MOH, Best Woman, his dad, my parents, and then us (mostly me lol).

My parents, hubby's father, my brother (the best man) and hubby and myself.

Me and the hubby will, the Maid of Honour (my sister), both best men possibly?, and our parents can if they want but I don't know if my Dad or my FH's parents would be up to it (Dad has a brain injury and his parents don't plan ahead very well and I'm not sure I'm ok with an impromptu speech...)

Maid of honour, best man, then me, then FH. We're all keeping them short though. Haven't enjoyed sitting through long speeches at weddings I've attended in the past.

MOHs gave each and best man was forgotten to mention. I gave the final speech on his behalf.

MOH, Best Man and Grooms Sister for sure! Sister is on of my bridesmaids too!! My parents dont want to give one (too nervous to speak in front of people and my mom will likely be a sobbing mess hahah!!) And then my FH and I will likely do one too! He as well doesnt like public speaking much either so I might have to do the majority of it hahah

My parents will probably want to give one, as well as the best man and possibly my brother and sister. My FH will be giving a speech and thank our guests. I hate giving speeches, so definitely will not be doing one lol
