Wedding Shoe Help

Kaitlyn, on November 25, 2020 at 10:17 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 9

Hey everyone!

Ok so I am looking for wedding shoes and I am really having a hard time finding what I am looking for.

1. Must have a block heel (ceremony and reception are on grass, aisle is a row of fruit trees)

2. Not white or ivory. Champagne/blush/pale blue preferred.

3. Adjustable ankle strap preferred but not a must. I have very tiny feet (size 6.5 and my one ankle is giant due to being broken & sprained a few times over the years)

4. Reasonable heel height. My fiance is 6'2 and I am 5'1 so I need some help in the height department. Ideally between 2.75" and 3.5"

5. Ideally pretty comfortable

Any ideas? I have searched everywhere online and the only ones I have come up with are these...and they're more than I would honestly like to spend ($450 Canadian with shipping & taxes)

Honestly look on Poshmark or Depop. I got a pair of Badgley Mischka heels for my wedding for $30 - the bride wore them for pictures and took them off - they were in like-new condition and there were tons of different styles and brands on there!

Wow I am way late to this thread, but Call it Spring has a TON of options that fit the bill. I got the Elerang, which has a 2.5" heel. Makenzie or Leilaa would also work!

Etsy was a godsend when it came to buying shoes! I ordered from this girl
    https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/kaileep?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=774245486

Here's a pair you may like (if sparkles is your thing)

Otherwise, just do a search for block heel wedding shoes. Make sure the shop has good reviews of course, but there are a TON to choose from.

What about getting heel protectors? My photos were on a golf course and it worked just fine.
    I had these shoes: https://www.dsw.ca/en/ca/product/jlo-jennifer-lopez-wynona-sandal/114303068

And bought something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/OtooKing-Protecors-Transparent-Women-Perfect-Occasions/dp/B07QTZKBQB/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=heel+protectors&qid=1606324658&sprefix=heel+pro&sr=8-6

I buy all of my block heels from spring. The prices are super reasonable. If you sign up for their email list you get 20% off your first purchase.

Check out La Chateau since they're going out of business everything is 20-50% off right now. Also check out Spring, Aldo, The Bay, Simons, Naturalizer or even Ardenes

So pretty! I bought Badgley Mischka flats for my wedding (I'm 5'9 and already tower over most of our family & friends!) but they have such beautiful shoes. They are definitely expensive, but maybe with black friday deals, you can find a deal! You may also find more variety in the New Year as spring stock comes out in February (if you are able to wait that long/suits your dress fitting timelines).

I did a quick search and Badgley Mischka shoes kept coming up, but you could check Beholdn, Le Chateau is closing so maybe you'll find what you're looking for there?! Good luck!
