Wedding rings

My FH is a mechanic by trade, so traditional rings on the job won't work. I am going to purchase a silicone one to try before we get married. A friend of his used to take it off at the beginning of work, then put it back on after work.

You can also do one of many similar type of unity ceremonies like sand pouring, boxing bottles of wine, candle lighting etc.

Is your fiance into any type of jewelry? If you want to keep a similar "round is eternal" motif that is associated with rings, you can use a bracelet, necklace etc in lieu of a ring.

I get the silicone route for those who work with their hands but for ceremonial purposes, I would opt for a sterling silver one instead. They cost the same thing! It's stupid how much money these silicone ring companies charge for a small round of plastic.

Silicone rings are available if real rings aren't his thing.
