Wedding planning book and keepsake

I like your tip on having sticky notes available and on hand to make additional notes. It great that this book can be passed on to our kids as a reference.

I love the questions to ask vendors. The tips have helped me cut costs and helped alot. Some of the questions I ask my wedding planner about and even she hasn't thought of it - but she has other questions that she asks too I am all about the notes - I keep sticky notes in the book and that way if I'm in a rush and it's messy I still have my answers but I can make it look nice to keep for my kids to see all the hard work that went into planning our wedding.

I have the same book. . It is such a wonderful resource and so easy to follow. It keeps me on track and helps me get organized even though I have an amazing wedding planner

I agree Alyson. I used the questions in my book yesterday with a videographer that my finance and I had a meeting with. The questions were perfect and you can compare the answers with others that you have a consultation in the same categories. This helps to decide on the best person to hire on your big day.

The things that I find most help full is that it gives you ideas on what to ask your vendors. it is fantastic knowing the exact questions to ask to make sure that they are capable to do exactly what they are looking for.

Thank you. The best tips I got from this book was the toss bouquet, instead of buying one, you can save money by using the bride bouquet. Transportation tip was to "get a limo to transport myself, my mom and attendants to the ceremony and for myself and my future husband to the reception to save money." I have used it to help with asking questions that are in the book for the vendor that I saw for the cake tasting, adding contact informaton in the book, writing out the budget and understanding the roles and responsiblity of cost between the bride, groom, my mom, his parents and the attendants. I like how everything is organized and how it easy to follow with the tips and making a good decisions on booking vendors.

I have a binder that I put all of our wedding contacts,contracts and pictures of anything wedding related. Once the wedding is over I will make a keepsake album with everything from my binder

Hi Melissa, I say go for it. It I definitely worth it. I found this book at Chapters and it cost close to $40.00 Canadian.

Very nice - i was looking a a book likethat at chapter's and debating if I would use it....maybe I'll go get one!
