You have a great jump start! I don't think there was anything I wish I had done sooner. I booked those same things pretty quick too, after that it was just a DJ and all the smaller details.

Sounds like you are ahead of the game!! Like you, I have pretty much all of my vendors booked and my wedding is 11 months away still.

i had a hard time finding my wedding shoes oddly enough! My wedding dress shop doesn’t carry shoes so I had to branch out and look everywhere. I ended up ordering from the US online but it took me 6 months. I was getting worried I’d never find anything!

Definitely get hair and makeup sorted soonish! I booked mine quite early but I can't believe how fast they're booking up!

Small vendors may be forgotten or wedding folder with all the information of contacts, numbers and timing/services set.

Checklists are the best way to keep track of all purchases, packing and things to take. Wedding folder/binder is another big thing to include due to having someone in the family or wedding planner (hired) to have that information and make calls if anything happens or no show from their part.

I've heard that hair and make-up if you are getting that done professionally should be booked earlier rather than later as the good ones tend to book up fast.

Finding a cake vendor is something I would have liked to do earlier. A lot of the ones in my area were already booked by the time I got to them, and I only started looking in March / April of this year for October.

Nothing is too early in wedding planning!

I would say remembering to budget things like late night lunch lol I also wish I would have quoted the cake and such earlier as so expensive and did it last minute!
