Wedding planner or not?

Angie, on January 8, 2018 at 16:01 Posted in Wedding reception 0 10
We are considering getting married in the rockies. Then just realize about the decors. All we need is someone to set-up the flowers, and some little item set.. Do you guys think a wedding planner is the answer for our issue?

I think it's up to you in the end, wedding planner is an extra cost. If you have a family member or friends that are willing to help with the small task then I would seek their help, saves you money and they will already be there so any questions they can ask you directly or your bridemaids Smiley smile

I wanted one, but in my area they are 3-4000 and that, is just not worth it in my opinion!

We didn't see the point in the expense of a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. We asked friends and family to pitch in which they all did happily. Also, my husband didn't need to start getting ready as early as I did so he was able to help as well.

I think the great thing about a wedding planner is they have tons of experience and now what works and what doesn't. They should know all the details about everything as well.

I'm wondering if a decorator is what you would be looking for though, if you just want them to help with decor.

There are many types of wedding planning, and a day-of coordinator sounds perfect for you! When you're talking to prospective coordinators I'd ask them if they offer this service. Have you started your search for a coordinator?

Our venue included a wedding coordinator to work with us and to help out on the big day. Honestly this has been amazing so far! I recommend for everyone to have a planner/coordinator, it helps take a bunch of the pressure off of you and they are so great at organizing all the little details that a lot of brides may overlook or might not think about. 100% recommend!

I went with a wedding planner because I knew that I needed someone to take over the busy important aspects of the day while I concentrated on being with my girls and getting ready. I get worked up easily and stress about the little things so this was a must for us.
