Hey everyone! We have a LARGE wedding party 8 + 8. For this reason, I cringe a little imagining 16 people being introduced over the mic. I read some older posts on here, some couples skipped the WP intro altogether, but I worry that it seems rude especially considering the effort the WP spends getting dolled up. We are doing a "Meet the Wedding Party" collage very similar to this picture. Is that enough? I thought it would be quicker if they didn't have to run out from another room, if they were already on the dance floor in a group and just waved when their names were called. Can anyone provide other suggestions?

In the US at least, bridal party introductions are not standard at every wedding reception. Some people do and and some people don't!
We skipped the reception introductions for them and just had the MC introduce us as a couple to walk in! The wedding party went and found their seats with the rest of the guests. We did list out the wedding party in our programs, but I don't really think you need to list them anywhere!

Our wedding wasn't introduced during our dinner the night before or at reception. It was mentioned ad thanks to them during the speech. Thay were part of the entrance except for 1 person.

We were off taking pictures and our MC got everyone over to the barn for dinner and the wedding party went with the rest of the guests. When we were ready to enter our MC introduced us and we just sat at our table.

May I ask how you skipped the wedding party intro? I’m thinking of doing this too just didn’t want it to be awkward did they just go into the reception with out you?

I'm assuming you mean the introduction at the reception?
I went to a wedding once where they had a big bridal party and they introduced the party in groups of 4 instead of the standard 2!
Each group of 4 came out to a chosen song and it honestly went by so quick! Just first names too is all you need!
I love that photo idea though! I think that's super sweet to have large party or small!

We didn't introduce our wedding party at our reception or have a collage or programs. Most of our immediate family already knew them or met them at the rehearsal dinner. Everyone else kind of just mingled with them if they chose to during the reception. Most people at our wedding knew each other, at least in passing, anyway.
