Wedding Invitations

Pritika, on March 21, 2022 at 13:36 Posted in Plan a wedding 1 28

Hello, where did you guys end up ordering your wedding invitations? I'm only looking for a wedding card, classy/ minimalist style.

I checked minted but they are US dollars.

Another option - to get the template off etsy and order from vistaprint?

Thank you in advance and happy wedding planning.

We are using Minted and Wedding Wire for the website. Plan on doing a few wedding invitations in paper (35-50). Most invites were e-invites!

I heard good things about Vistaprint!

There are some really pretty designs from Shutterfly or Canva. Personally I ended up making our own design on Canva which saved a lot of money as well! Smiley smile

We ordered from Shutterfly and Vistaprint! Both were true to what was previewed and had super quick shipping! I have also previously ordered from Zazzle and definitely would recommend any of the 3!

I got a set of 30 (small wedding) from Michaels and printed them on the computer. I must say I had amazing help from my daughter!

Vistaprint is the site that had all the styles and colours, styles and sizes that did fit our day. The Thank you cards that matched our invitations and the cake frosting to be complete. Here is the whole set of what I had ordered.

We used Vista Print for most, and then the ones that say ‘we still do’ are Minted. We also ordered our thank you cards off Minted and they were really good quality

We used Vistaprint but totally understand if people just email especially if RSVPs are online already.

I'm opting for digital invites, so won't be printing but Vistaprint has amazing quality. You can save some money too by not going with their "wedding" option routes and just ordering normal postcards.

I did this with the magnets for my STD and saved about $0.50 each!

I should be home Thursday so I'll send a photo then!
It's soooooo time consuming but I wouldn't of wanted it any other way... it's also fun to watch the machine do all the writing 🤣
The foil really adds time I found, and you have to pay so much attention to it incase it doesn't transfer correctly I had a few it didn't transfer correctly 🙃

I personally did my invitations all with my cricut machine. (I recommend looking for a template and even using something lis Vista print) I had my cricut print the writing and it too along time! I also put foil on the card too. Turned pit absolutely stunning. Ill update a photo when I get home of it! 😊 it was time consuming but I was alright with that lol

I did my wedding invitations through Canva on my own then e-message them. Hahaha! So mine wasn’t as extravagant. But it saved me a lot of money. 😁

We only need 25 invitations for older family members and 50 save the date cards so we have been looking at a Zazzle-great prices in CAD and they have all of the items you can think of in most designs ie: place setting cards, rsvp, invitations, menus etc.... If we don't end up ordering on Zazzle, we will get a set at Michaels and create our own.

I designed my own and then had it printed at The Printing House on gold foil. I added the wax seal myself afterwards. All told including envelopes, it cost me $200 and didn't take more than a few hours of work.Wedding Invitations 2

We have used the box sets from Michaels (Gartner Studios) they have templates that match the box set online. You write whatever you want for your invite different fonts sizes colors etc and then just simply print right from home

No problem!! Cheated the system a bit 😬😬 haha
You don’t get the beautiful envelopes that minted has but I got some on Etsy.
I also ordered address return and guest address labels so I don’t have to write them all out by hand, I just sent the pdf to the Etsy seller! But if you have a cricuit you can do it yourself!

Genius! I might do that too. I personalized it on minted and then saw it's USD dollars. I need 130 invitations and I refuse to pay USD dollars.

    Thank you for the idea!

    Hi there,

I got my template from Etsy and had Vista Print do the rest and they turned out amazing!

    Good luck!

I’m either going to go with minted or vista print. I love the letterpress option minted has, but it is pricey. I’m DIYing everything else so it’ll be a splurge

I diyed ours with my cricut. I'd look into a template on etsy and a local print shop. When I was looking at Vistaprint for our invites I didn't think their pricing was that good in comparison to when I ordered our save the dates. I even waited like 3 months to try and find a good sale
