Wedding invitation ideas

We are having our invites designed by a close friend who is a graphic designer, so these are the photos I gave him for inspiration. our colours are burgundy, navy and gold, and i know he will create something amazing, i cant wait to see how they turn out!!

We wanted to make it personal so we made the card to be all about us... now this is not yet printed after some cotrections we will be printing it and sending them our mid summer..

Its a kit from Party City, print your own... I think it was regular price $30 for 50 invites, and RSVPs (envelopes, holder, bellyband, glue dots included)... FYI, When you open the box the flowers appear orange, light eventually turns them a darker color... The bellybands provided are actually yellow, you can bleach them but we ended up just swaping them out.

this is actually our invatation for the people who need them but we are doing everything through the website because it saves money.

Nothing solid in mind yet but this is what we have so far..... we will see if we can do it... For the cover the pics in the corner are meant to be the background of the intivation front. The interior is meant to look like the inside of a menu since that is where my fiance and I met.

We used an old postcard image for our invitations. The back is also done up like a postcard.

These are the invitations we sent out. We were looking all over the internet and found these on Vistaprint. The FH and I both liked them and they kind of fit our rustic theme. They even inspired one of our DIY projects: mason jars with fairy lights for centerpieces.

Fell in love with this but we went with wood looking ones.

We went with gold invitations to match with our colour scheme! I just have some fake details on this one for privacy reasons lol. But On the real invitations, it has all the correct information

I also really like these ones. Still have a bit of time before we have to decide. But we will most likely be doing the invites in our own to try to save money

That's totally the idea I have too. There'll be a mixture of online invites and mailed invites. But I totally love the idea of using engagement photos in our invites both online and in print!

Not sure yet! I am thinking we will probably do e-vites for two reasons, more earth-friendly due to less waste and more economical! But I do love the idea of this invitation which I think you posted
