Wedding Insurance: Front Row or pal

Miav, on July 27, 2019 at 11:21 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 8
Has anybody purchased insurance from FrontRow or PAL Wedding Guard? Any advice on which one is better? From Row seems much cheaper..

thanks!

Hmmmm, best bet would be to get a quote from both places and then compare what they cover and what the deductibles are.

Treat it like home insurance - for instance, I got my current insurance because the deductible is $1,000 but they would only pay me what my house is worth if it were to go up in flames. The insurance I plan on switching to next year (had a couple things we need to fix on the house to qualify) HAD a $2,000 deductible because their insurance has it more expensive for the first year for first time home owners so now it would be down to $1,000 AND it would pay me about $40,000 more than my house value - and only cost me $12/year more than what I currently pay.

Smiley xd Smiley xd we can consider getting that too LOL. I actually just found out about insurance because our venue requires it. And the venue coordinator did say that it's a good protection for us just in case the wedding gets cancelled (they cover a lot of things, even snowstorms, which is comforting of some sorts for a late Sept wedding Smiley xd ) although a cancellation is highly unlikely. PAL is more expensive than Front Row for some reason

I won't be getting insurance but I have never heard of front row- only pal. Although, I will admit when I first read it I thought you were talking guns (Possession and Acquisition Licence) 😂

I do see your point and if the lowest pricing is good enough to get for what is basics, go with it.

Thanks Vinod! Our venue requires us a liability insurance though so we still have to even just basic coverage

I was thinking of signing up for wedding insurance and didn't at the end because of managing our small wedding vendors. The costs seems expensive as to not using their services essentially.

The 2 companies I haven't heard of. The one that offers the best choices that appeal to you, sign up. There isn't any wrong choices if you want to be covered in any cases during the planning process.
