Wedding hair - sticking with your regular stylist or finding someone new?

My stylist is a family friend, so she's invited to the wedding. If she comes, I'll ask her to do my hair, but if she doesn't I'm comfortable doing it on my own.

I wanted to go with my regular stylist, however I was recently informed that she doesn’t really fo the style I’m looking to get, so I’m thinking I should shop around a little

I have no clue how to even start doing this, anyone have any ideas?

I'm going with my regular salon, but since my stylist doesn't do wedding hair, it will be one of her colleagues. I've seen her work though, it's really awesome.

I’m going with my regular. She’s a family friend, she’s brilliant with styling and I’m excited to spend the morning in her salon (they have a liquor license and a bar so she’s promised me some mimosas!)

Someone else. My regular stylist does not style my hair, she only colours it, cuts it, and does my extensions. I am not familiar with her styling work at all.

My "regular stylist" is my stepsister... and it's maybe a bi-annual hair cut... more like annual... I asked her to style my hair and she said no, too much pressure.

I'm glad I went with a mobile hair stylist. She did a trial, I liked it, she showed up on the day, did my hair, and left. She did a great job, and it was stress free for me, and all my family members.

I didn't have a regular stylists, so I decided to go big with a specialized one.

I'm booking my old regular stylist who I saw before I moved away. We kept in tough all these years and I asked her if she would do my wedding hair she was ecstatic! I'm very picky about who I let touch my hair so there was no question I'd go back to her.

I'll be finding a specialist. The girl I've been getting cuts from since moving less than a year ago didn't do a fantastic job when I went to her to curl my hair for another wedding so I'm definitely going with a tried and true professional for my day.

Specialist! One less thing for me to worry about and the team will do up me and my girls the same-ish! I hired a lady and did my trial and I am BEYOND happy with how it came out! Sooooo excited!!!!

I booked my regular hairstylist do come and do my hair (and the bridesmaids hair as well) I knew I wanted to use him even before I got engaged- he is the only one I trust to do my hair the way I like it

I will be getting my FH's cousin who happens to be one of my BM's to do my hair! I don't want anything too intricate so it shouldn't be a problem. By the end of the night I assume my hair will be up in a pony tail anyways No use in paying for that IMO - I wanna look like me but a little elevated!
