Wedding Flowers

Stephanie, on August 28, 2019 at 15:44 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 52

Just wondering how much people are spending on flowers for their wedding.

Real, assorted flowers (not all roses or 1 kind of flower).

How much for the brides bouquet?

Maid of honors?

Centerpieces?

Boutineers?

Thanx

Thank you😊 like I said I would definitely recommend Costco if you are trying to save on flowers! I did the bouquets the day before the wedding with my bridesmaids and it was really fun!

Congratulations Joannie!! 🎉 And WOW you, your bridesmaids & the flowers all look so incredible!! So lovely.😊 Hearing that you used Costco for your flowers & greenery (for $200!? SO Awesome) is really great & a huge relief to me, as I’ve been considering going this route too. I was trying to really cut down on costs (esp. w/ flowers) but still want to have some lovely, creative touches I could bring to our day. Great job!

I spent exactly 200$ for all the florals I had. I had so much I was able to do boutineers, bridesmaids bouquet, my bouquet, centrepieces and decorate 2 arches. Costco saved me on this one!

I also had some greenery in my moms backyard but i bought 2 kind of eucalyptus, babysbreath, white roses and white dahlias.

They are amazing! I ordered in March and had them in April. I had bridesmaids bouquets and a toss bouquet as well. The one pictured was mine. I 10/10 recommend Budget Bride.

I went with Brantford Blooms. Olga is the owner of the shop and she has been great to work with.

I am paying 2500 in Brantford, which includes my bridal bouquet (150), five bridesmaids bouquets (100 each), 11 total boutonnieres (~12 each) for groomsmen and fathers, grandfathers, ring bearers, 5 corsages (~15), and centrepieces/ceremony aisle and arch decorations. My theme colour is burgundy which is in high season right now so you pay more for those types of flowers (dahlias = 3-4 dollars each, spray roses = 3 each).

I am sure Toronto prices are probably higher than Peterborough where I am Smiley smile

Just make sure to check the travel fees, some have it included but others charge to deliver to the venue based on KM's.

I purchased them off of a site called Budget Bride. They ship free internationally. Their costs are in USD but it wasn’t horrible once converted. It was an amazing deal and my flowers were gorgeous.

Picking options that are in season makes a difference! I'm getting married in December and using anemones as my main flower, with blue thistle, white roses, and red hypericum berries. The greenery will be eucalyptus and dusty miller. I also may ask to add some herbs like rosemary! I'm getting them through a friend of my MoH that is a florist, so she's giving us a deal. Bridal bouquet is $120 and I believe bridesmaids are $70 each. The groom is $13 for boutonniere and groomsmen/dads etc are $10 each. Any corsages are about $23, and for ring bearers etc its $5 each. Looking at a little over a grand all together including taxes and delivery and a few additional items.

Yes agreed! Also my bouquet will be bloom heavy, which ups the cost (vs having lot's of greenery).

I am finding that the closer or farther you are from a big city impacts the costs of the flowers for sure.

I love the idea of succulents. I have been looking into them for our center pieces.
