Nafisa, on March 3, 2019 at 21:21 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 9
Looking for a custom wedding favor for approximately 100 families (one per family) Is Etsy a good bet? Really looking to spend a couple hundred. Any DIYs accepted Smiley smile

My mom made floral packets, it cost us about $2o. She got a greenhouse to give her the leftover seeds they had and she made the packages. Only real cost was the tulle bags she got at the dollar store.

What kind of thing are you looking for? I'm getting custom cork coasters made with my wedding logo and date. $1.20 per piece.

If you don't want to DIY, wedding star also has good favors. And Laura Secord will do two chocoaltes for 1.99, including packaging.

Depends on the type of favors you wanted, my friend did beer cozys off etsy and really cheap, my other friend did sun glasses off some site and again really cheap. My sister did hersey kisses inside a small box and that was pretty cheap. I was thinking something homemade and bulk local like maple syrup or honey, but the jars to order even through some people are so expensive. Its all depends on how much you want to spend. Also, some families depending on the age of them might not be expecting or realize they can't take more than one.

Food favours are great! I find more people take these at weddings than a random item.

Etsy has a lot, but make sure you find someone local like Bianca said! Some of the shipping costs are more expensive than what you are buying!

I did mini bottles with mini m&ms! I got the bottles from amazon, ribbon from michaels and made the hearts myself! Super easy and came out to maybe 45$ total! (See picture). Another idea i liked was a tube of flower seeds and a label “plant with care, grow with love” but i couldnt find any seeds when i was looking haha.

I find amazon to be amazing and as a member, you get 2 day delivery fast delivery time. Its great to find some great items there too and free shipping prime. Look into it and see if it does helps. The other thing I did was put the word lot after the item to see the price and discount given based on quantity.

I agree with Bianca! Food items I find are always the best! We did home made wine and then bottled them in 350ml bottles! But even like little boxes of macarons, Hershey's kisses, any kind of little individual treat I always find is the best!

I think Etsy is a really good place to start! I'd look for local vendors on there (in order to avoid costly shipping fees from elsewhere). As for making something, if you or anyone close to you is good with baking, baked goods is always easy and cheap!
