My friend gave us each a Swatch as bridal party gift. She picked out different styles for each of us so it felt personalized. I feel like it was a thoughtful gift, and practical for everyday use.

I made her centerpieces. She bought lanterns at Ikea and we stuffed them with invisible string lights and tied a small bouquet of flowers with twine on the lantern handle. I turned on the lights during cocktail hour and every table was sparkling.

I plan to buy a few trays of assorted 2" succulents/cacti and make an arrangement on each table to act as the centerpiece, floral and guest favours.

Agreed! Most favours I have received in the past that are non-edible or non-usable have been discarded.

This is a really good idea because everyone will use it. I'm really on the side of edible/usable favors because then people won't just throw it out!

We're doing mason jars with homemade granola/trail mix. I'm thinking I'll do a version with dried fruit and coconut and then another version with chocolate and nuts. I always make my own healthy treats so I think it will be fun.

Well I went to Ikea today and bought white picture frames for $0.99 for my favours. I don't have a bridesmaid. I ask my younger brother to stand by my side and I plan on buying him a watch.

We are doing little boxes of make your own s'mores kits! I have a big obsession with them and could eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner lol I even got little tags to go on our boxes! They say "there is always room for s'more love!" with our names and wedding date. Another great find from etsy

I am thinking of doing macarons as the wedding favour. 2 purple ones in a clear box with a gold bow (purple is the colour of my wedding along with gold accents). This is the closest photo to that I Could find!

We are making a spice rub as our favour and we haven't decided on bridesmaids and groomsmen gifts yet.
