Wedding Expos?

I went to one in February and it definitely helped me see what vendors were working within my area.

I went to one and found it very pushy and overwhelming. It's a good way to get some ideas for your wedding but be wary of the vendors.

To be perfectly honest...We didn't find it super helpful. It was pretty exhausting, and a bit overwhelming.

We went in mostly looking to meet and chat with photographers, and most of them that were there were pretty new, or we weren't fans of their style, etc. So we didn't book anything that we saw.

But I guess it was good to go, and to know that we probably don't need to go back haha.

I'm with Marcia on this one! The Wonderful Wedding Show is a great way to see what is being offered and at what prices. The sticker thing is something that I wished I would have known about but now that I do - I will save my hand next time and make a whole bunch of stickers - probably at least 60-100. (Name, address, phone number, email)

My mom, my aunt & I went to a wedding expo in February. It was great to see vendors. My chosen florist was there and I ended up getting 25% off. As for the gown sale...O...M...Gee... Never again. Brides are savages and I didnt at all enjoy that part :/

But overall, it was a great experience

I went to two. I didn't end up booking anyone that advertised there, but I did win a doorprize! Won some gift certificates to a barbecue company, which we will be using towards our rehearsal dinner!

It was a great afternoon to spend with my bridesmaids! I entered all the draws, and ended up receiving so many emails after that I ended up unsubscribing to because I didn't actually want/need their service!

I had attended a wedding show when most of the planning was takrn care of. Its a great way to compare ideas and prices as to the area around you. I personally found the vendors overpriced for what they want to offer.

Labels will help if you do enter draws.

Definitely agree with the address labels, multiple people gave me the same advice. Make sure anyone coming with you also has stickers. Take brochures from everywhere and enter every competition you can, also take a reusable shopping bag with you to hold all the brochures!

I went to the Wonderful Wedding Show, you will enjoy going to wedding expos they are fun, informative, lots of inspiration and vendors to look at, lots of freebies . I would suggest printout address label stickers with your information (easier for draw entries so your not writing you information down all the time).
