Wedding Evites and save the dates

Brittany, on February 16, 2022 at 21:59 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 8
We have opted to do online invites. We can't decide between using a website like WithJoy where they have save the dates and invitations that are sent and linked to your wedding website. But this site is limited to invitation designs and choosing fonts etc.
OR using a more unique Evite site where we are able to customize more of what we want.
Any suggestions for websites and evites would be helpful!

We used Canva to make the invites and kept the template for other signs used throughout our wedding.

Since we used Canva, we did more personal invites by texting 💬 and messaging the guests. I liked that option, then used this website for updates.

Wedding websites are great with WW itself to have all your guests RSVPing on one site as your planning your final guest count at the end.
Alternative choices are Withjoy as others do recommend and Greenvelope as my cousin and her husband used for their wedding. You can have the website set up the way you want it with maps, photos and more. Check it out to see if it works for you both.

What we did was I made my website using canva (because it found it to be super customizable) but I created a link for the rsvp part which connected to my WeddingWire rsvp page. I just removed the rest of the pages other than the rsvp on WeddingWire website, but that way it connected my rsvp’s here

I used WithJoy. The RSVP functions on there alone beat others out of the park. I was fine with the templates they had but if you really want a more elaborate/custom look to the evite, you can use something else. Just make sure the evite links back to Withjoy if you're using it to track your guests.

I have heard WithJoy is the best option for customization. Well liked by many brides.

personally, I found it TOO customizable, and I just wanted something simple. so I am just using the options available on here.

I tried out many websites. Hands down WithJoy was the best. I couldn't recommend it more. We were so happy with it. It was a breeze with customized RSVPs, grouping and organizing guests for updating purposes, emailing them etc. Plus, simple free url. If you don't like the designs then I definitely say still use the site but do your invites from a different site. When we had to send updates, we liked that the design that matched our site (similar vibe to our paper invites) as then guests would be clicking directly to the website anyway. Also, maybe <1% of guests pay attention to that or care. Don't overthink it! Do what will make your life easier in planning!
