We have been monitoring the situation, been in touch with our venue manager as well as some of our vendors. After experiencing a sudden immediate loss amid this pandemic my fiancé and I have decided to postpone our wedding events, which was scheduled for April 26th and August 16th. We have selected May and June 2021 dates and contacted all of our vendors, requesting updated contracts.
This is so difficult for us all. We thought about so many aspects/factors/scenarios. We want to make sure our loved ones are safe and we can have the wedding we want. This is just terrible and we are trying our best to remain hopeful.
We understand that August is still a few months away but to be perfectly honest, it is hard to remain optimistic or "happy" to plan, especially now while we are grieving.
I believe we made the right decision for us and I really hope we are wrong, that this will blow over soon and everyone's wedding plans may resume.
