Ok, so my wedding is in 11 days!!! I am so excited, nervous and yet strangely peaceful about the whole thing. We are basically ready to go and I am just going over all of the lists one last time and enjoying these last few days.
I have all of the vendor envelopes done up and ready to go but I decided to put a bunch of money into a separate envelope and called it 'Emergency'. That way if anything happens day of- run out of ice, someone forgets their money for hair, not enough food/coffee, fixing something etc., there is a small amount of money to cover it without sending people around with my Visa.
My question is, has anybody else done this? If so, how much did you roughly set aside?
If you haven't done this, what kinds of last minute expenses did you end up running into on the day of? We are having our ceremony in our field which means a lot of stuff will be accessible from the house, but I like to have that 'just in case' blanket.
