Wedding Emcee

Hi everyone!

We're looking on finding a wedding emcee (masters of ceremony) to host our wedding. We've considered asking some of our friends and family members but everyone seems hesitant about it (understandably so) and we'd rather have them enjoy the reception. I am having a hard time finding vendors in Calgary on weddingwire. Anyone have any recommendations they want to shoot our way?

    The DJ we hired offers MC service with their packages so that's what we will do.

    The DJ I hired was also the MC for announcing the entrance, first dance, cake cutting and Mother/Sons dance. Simple and easily done. No family or friends to get up and go through the whole thing of paper.

    Our DJ offered to MC our wedding! Of course we declined as we have somebody that we have asked but most DJ's offer this! If you've hired a band it doesn't hurt to ask them as well though!

    Are you having a DJ or band? If you're doing a DJ, are they from a company? Ours is and there's an option to hire an emcee. I'd check out local entertainment companies if your DJ doesn't offer it and see what they have. Good luck!
