Ordered my dress almost 2 years ago now (got engaged 02/10/2018), but life kept getting in the way of us having the wedding we want...so now it looks like 2022 is our year... This was taken the day I went to pick it up from the salon (no alterations completed yet)...will be a 5 year old dress by the time I say I do, but I keep getting the same feeling every time I try it on...may buy something newer for the reception, but we will see!! Good news is, the dress is already bought and paid for, so it is no longer considered part of the wedding budget for 2022

It was the second dress I tried on and I knew it was the one. Tried on a few others after it but none of them compared to it. Can't wait to wear it next year.

Such beautiful dresses on here! I was beyond excited when I found my dress, after several try on's! at least 20 different dresses! As I know I bought this way early, it was worth it!

Our wedding is planned for October 2, I always have everything planned far in advance so of course I am freaking out about this all even though it's a ways away.. I sure hope Ontario calms down!! That's where I am too. Good luck, thinking of you!

My dress is by Sottero & Midgley. Can’t wait for it to come in. I am going to wear my mothers cathedral veil from the 80s sans the head piece .

View quoted message Ahhh so true! I’m hopeful as well! Ontario seems to be slowly calming down so I’m sure things will start to be lifted in July ( they shouldn’t prematurely open things up ) so that gives us 2 months of a buffer! Hopefully we’ll be good to go!
