So with all that is going on, I decided to order my dress online from david's bridal. I did go to the store to try on dresses already so I know my fit and size. I feel comfortable buying online.

Has any other brides order there dress online and how did it go?

Should I wait it out until I can get back to the store?

    Does anyone have any good website suggestions for ordering a dress online? My wedding is Oct 2020 and luckily we had a small guest list already. I feel like I'm running out of time to order and alter, so any suggestions on quality sites that I could order from would be so appreciated!

    I've considered ordering online for my back up dress.... Just in case things don't get considerably better and we decide to "elope" to out livingroom.

    I work at David’s Bridal in Calgary. If you have any questions I might be able to help you out. The website is American, so it is completely separate from our stores in Canada. All prices are you USD but you will actually receive a really quality wedding dress.

    Yes At the time I don't think i have much of a choice if I want to have it ready.

    Someone I know ordered from David's Bridal online. They were shocked that they had to pay USD, shipping, duties & taxes, etc. The price was much higher than expected. Something to consider just in case!

    You know the size and fit of the dress you liked and got it. Ordering online isn't a bad thing since the stores are closed for some time unknowing for how long of time. I do a lot of online shopping a have bought clothes knowing the size of the outfits from websites.

    If youve tried it on and its your size i would buy it online. no clue when stores will open back up
