Wedding dress rentals?

Definitely a thing but like most rentals you probably won't be allowed to make any changes or alterations to the item. This could make it hard to find something that is perfect but it is definitely a cost saver.

It is a thing! And it can be a cost saver, but one downside is you probably won't be allowed to make alterations to a dress you're renting, so it could make getting the right fit a little bit trickier than buying a gown and getting is custom altered to yourself. If you find any companies in your area that offer this do let us know about them!

It's definitely a thing! Most of the women I work with are suggesting that I do it, but they are also assuming that I was looking to spend more on a dress than I am.

It is a thing for sure. My coworker's daughter almost did it here in Vancouver for her wedding last summer. Unfortunately I don't know of places in Calgary, but I would definitely Google it and/or ask around.

You usually end up paying half of what a gown would cost, and some places will bring in the dress you want if they don't have it, if they think they will be able to rent it again.
