Greetings! Today is Thanksgiving of 2020, so Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
My wedding is not until June of 2021. I bought my dress mid October. It was already 3 sizes too big when I walked out the door with it. Since then, I've lost an additional dress size. I'm hoping to lose no more than 20 pounds (another dress size). That would make my dress FIVE sizes too big.
From my readings, it sounds like FOUR is the absolute maximum a dress can/should be taken in. My mom suggested I go in again to look for another dress and exchange. I LOVE my dress. There's not much detail. It is lace there is ruching on the bodice. A lot of material.
What do I do? Stop trying to lose? Exchange? Take my chances? Help!
