Lindsay, on October 23, 2021 at 18:43 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 5
Hi everyone,

My mother in law to be is going to make my wedding dress! Would it still be ok to try on dresses or do you guys think I won’t need to?

What a great gift! If it were me, I'd still try on to get a better idea of fit, details etc. I ended up with a fit n flare when I thought I'd have a-line or ballgown.

Hey Lindsay! That is super sweet of your MIL to create your wedding dress. I would think its okay to go try on some dresses, that way you are able to input on your likes and dislikes. I would suggest trying on all different styles! Hope this helps Smiley smile

I don't think that would be a bad idea. That way you get a feel on what you like and don't like.

I think trying on dresses is fine. To give you an idea on what you like and what fits you well. That would be great to give you an idea.

Its a great gift to you from your MIL to make your dress. You could try some for ideas and styles to let her know what you like and if she does add some final touches of her own.
