Since we’re not having a wedding party I’m thinking about asking someone I would’ve asked to be in my bridal party to takeover one of my social media accounts for the day - specifically IG. (I’m not allowed to have my phone for the entire day).
I need ideas on what to call that role.
The friend (I’ve got someone in mind) would post on my behalf throughout the day as a guest curator of my account for the day, like how organizations get a celeb to takeover their account for a day/special event. This person would specifically be posting on my (Leah) behalf for the day of the wedding.
Looking for a title that avoids use of the words “curator”, “social media” and “coordinator”.
This is totally in keeping with my personality and my FH and I reconnected through social media so it also relates to the “true to us” vibe we’re going with for. We’re not having a videographer, and both the ceremony and reception will be an intimate group of about 50.
My IG account is private and I don’t mind virtually sharing the day with those who I’m connected with. I would trust this person to not post/share everything just snippets/moments on my behalf, just like I would if I were doing it myself.

If it's a girl, call her the Maid of Media! (Instead of Maid of Honour)
Actually that sounds a little weird... but maybe play off the typical wedding terms that are usually given to the bridal party?

Doing an IG Story where you introduce her and "hand over the the reigns" would be super cute! Especially if you are doing "getting ready" robes or whatever, where people can start getting excited with you!
I like "Postmaster". Very cute.

Unfortunately the guest count is too low to have her be a secret but I’ll definitely do a “handover/introduction” the morning of.

The title I’m going with so far is “Instagram Postmaster”.

I’m way more excited about this than I am dress shopping.

I don't know why, but with the 'social media takeover', my brain went 'gossip girl'... and I used to love that show... so I have too much time on my hands, but I thought this would be cute? (Yes, totally creeped your profile for names/colours... haha, sorry!)
