Wedding Day Emergency Kit

Marcia, on July 16, 2018 at 15:08 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 10

Hello All Smiley smile!

What will you be including in your wedding day emergency/survival kit? My friend told me I should create a wedding day emergency kit, so now I want to know what would be some good things to put in it? I know I will be including my hot glue gun because some of my DIY projects may fall apart.

I didn't have one because we were staying on site so we had everything in the trailer where we were staying or it could probably be found in my uncle's house. I think it's a good idea to have a small sewing kit, extra craft supplies if you did some DIY, extra Kleenex, some tylenol or advil, extra makeup supplies and anything else you deem necessary.

I have oil blotting papers forgot to type those! Allergy pills are good idea!
Since it’ll be out on the farm I plan to put a bag with some of my stuff in the house extra pair of shoes, sun block, deodorant, hair spray .. etc since it all won’t fit into my little emergency kit lol
our bathroom kits also have some things in them like feminine products.

I would also add in allergy pills (as I have seen so many brides/family have an allergic reaction due to stress).

    oil blotting papers
    makeup setting spray
    granola bars/protein bar
    women's products
    dryer sheets for static cling
    nail file
    hair spray
    baby powder (for chafing)
    tweezers

I was gifted one at my shower. It has:
    - sewing kit
    - scissors and double sided tape
    - bandaids
    - safety pins
    - bobby pins
    - Tylenol
    - tissues
    - gum and mints
    - tooth paste and toothbrush
    - razor
    - cotton swabs
    - mouth wash
    - lip balm
    - tums
    - hand cream
    - mini lint roller
I’m going to add lash glue, makeup, eye drops and contact solution.

All the necessities such as deodorant, hairspray, bobby pins, eyelash glue, your lip colour, tissues, mints, floss, pepto bismol, advil/Tylenol, any meds you take, chap stick, sewing kit, granola bar, stuff like that. I'm sure there is plenty more but just mainly the basics.

    Hot glue gun for sure!

    - Mini sewing kit too! Like even just the little dollar store travel one.

Raiding the travel size bin at Walmart for hairspray, deodorant, lotion, sun screen, even shaving cream/razors (you never know... groomsman or bridesmaid... haha)

There are many, many, many lists online... I would save several of them, make a massive "master list" and then take out the thing you know you just would never use.

For example, sunscreen is on every list... but I'm getting married mid-January... so I know that's a no-go... haha.

What a smart idea to bring your glue gun. I think scissors and tape would be good to go along with that. Tweezers might also be handy and perhaps a ginger ale (it calms me...lol)

I actually bought this Emergency Kit from Davids Bridal for all of my Bridesmaids!

They were super cute and SO USEFUL! 21 items contained in it it was perfect!

I've heard you can get the same or similar for probably less expensive but they were so convenient for me and the case was cute I had to!
