Well for the year round things: Celebrations dinner theatre, the forks, concerts, sporting events, gas station theatre, Rumor's Comedy Club. Anything outside would be a hit or miss though. We could end up with a cold front and in that case the red river trail still may be open for skating but if it's warmer then maybe a park kind of activity would be available.

    Hi Tori,

Thank you for weather info. We plan on having our wedding and reception indoors. Was more so wondering what my guests could do in Winnipeg during their stay.

    Hi Joey,

We will get married in a church and have our wedding reception indoors as well. I don’t think our wedding planes will be an issue because it’s all indoors But will my family and friends have options for activities in Winnipeg during that time?

Hi Darcell, welcome to WeddingWire! We're happy to have you here planning with us. How did you choose your date? Are you planning to have some part of your wedding set outdoors? How is your venue search coming along, do you need help making a backup weather plan in case it'll be very cold?

I looked into it a little on the weather network: https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/monthly/manitoba/winnipeg?year=2019&month=3&dispt=calendar-container-monthly

It says that the average temperature for that day is +5 degrees so from there it really just depends if you want an outdoor wedding or not. Even at that - my day is set for October 5th 2019 outdoors which the average is +12 degrees, but there will be multiple bonfires and a pavilion.
