Wedding colours?!

I am really having trouble with wedding colours!
I'm obsessed with purple and not having purple wouldn't seem like me, I'm thinking a deep plum for the MOH dress, but maybe I need a neutral instead? IDK!

My dress will either be a soft misty blue or white/ivory with blue details (Old Irish brides wore blue), and our reception venue has blue walls/ paneling. Ceremony is in a park in spring.

We don't really like pastels. I've looked at many different colour combos and nothing has jumped out. My MOH is no help! Maybe I need some different input....

Any ideas or suggestions?

    For sure. That's why I'm really wanting to figure out the colours. I want to try and figure out as much stuff as possible while we're still on restrictions so that I can go into places/go online and know exactly what I'm looking for.

    Dark purple dresses with navy or charcoal suits would look great. You can lift the heaviness by implementing champagne and and ivory into your decor and flowers, linens, etc. Even some gold would really bring it all together.

    Since you can literally go to any flower shop and show them your colours and they will make it that colour or at least extremely close to it. the next thing would be the bridesmaid dresses, all places have literally hundreds of colours for dresses and online there is even more that are reliable places. you can easily match up to your wedding colours.

    Right! I love the bouquet as well. An other thing you may be able to do is get paint swatches!

    That's what I am doing in the end instead of focusing on pictures from the internet. This way you can bring these colours with you everywhere when picking things for your wedding.

    I know you said you've looked at a bunch of different colours. Have you checked these?

    Because you have the blue, I think a navy blue and a dusty blue would be nice with Plum! not too pastel, but it gives it a pop.

    If it's just bridesmaid dresses, I think a deep purple is fine. Just don't have the guys get purple suits unless you want them to remind your guests of The Joker lol.
