Wedding Ceremony Troubles... Help!

My fiance and I have been for months on end now trying to find the perfect cozy and intimate wedding venue to hold our ceremony for literally a maximum of 20 guests. With our horrible luck that we have we have been turned down by so many places because we were living overseas and no event place wanted to deal with it. I am now home and it's crunch time as we are getting married at the end of January and there is no switching dates any longer because we have already pushed it back from the original date by quite a few months. If anyone has any (affordable) venue/location ideas please send them my way!!

    Restaurants should be able to host. Italian resraurants are known to close doen for private parties.

    I would ask local restaurants, maybe a museum or historic location, even a store (book store or library for the lit nerds etc). Try thinking outside the box of what people would normally consider a wedding venue.

    For 20 guests, I am sure you can find a restaurant with a small meeting room or private room. I had originally wanted my reception at a restaurant, but in my area I could not find a space large enough--most of them were for under 50 people.
