Wedding Ceremony & Music

First of all - let me start out by saying we are planning a super casual, family style wedding - getting married on the beach by our cottage and then to a casino resort close by for our reception - which will (hopefully) be like a casual beach picnic.

Here's my question - we are getting married on our beach. It is not your typical beach wedding setting - so not entirely sure what we should do for music? We are planning a very short ceremony - with little to no seating (unless people bring lawn chairs or blankets). Does this sound weird?

Suggestions?

    BT speaker seems to be the common answer and agree with it since its just family. BYOC/B isn't wierd since they will get comfortable sitting how they like.

    Get yourself a Bluetooth speaker or a good stereo and play some of your favourites. You could have acoustic or jazz playing or even beach/warm weather tunes.

    I agree that some nice acoustic music would be perfect, maybe look up some acoustic covers and make a play list?
    The only thing you may find with no seating is the short people not getting to see much of your ceremony but I’m sure people can figure it out lol

    It sounds lovely!!

    You could get a small bluetooth battery powered speaker and play music through that? I friend of mine did that for her wedding and just had someone in the audience control the music from their phone. It worked really well!

    We do - but not necessarily well. LOL.

    That did cross my mind - one person would be my dad however, and he'll be walking with me I hope.

    Definitely an option.

    Does not sound weird at all, sounds very lovely and intimate. Do you have any friends or family that play guitar?
