If you don't include my tent rental my budget was around $7,000 with 200 people buffet supper and cash bar. I made my own flower arrangements, got a beautiful but cheaper dress online, did a lot of DIY and planned it for over 2 years to get massive sales for random things. I still have over a month but so far its below the $7,000.

There's definitely ways to do it! Have a potluck meal, look around at smaller, more low key venues, and do BYOB! Get your dress from consignment there are some beautiful ones out there!

I got my venue for 3 days for $1000 and its breathtaking and beachfront. It is definitely possible, it sometimes just takes a little longer to find!

Out budget is 3500$! and so far we are still in it! we are also trying to get most things paid for asap to prevent a huge bill the month before haha !

however it is a casual wedding, and the ceremony is in a park, and the reception in my parents yard. so we only had to pay about 500$ for the ceremony space, which saved A TON

When i was trying to stay below 5000 (we went above by 1500) we found if we did an evening ceremony with cocktail reception and a late night station we stayed around 3000ish

I definitely think it’s doable. There are things that you could consider doing like
-rent a local community Hall or even better, go to someone’s house that has a large yard
- have a BBQ. Hamburgers and hotdogs for the win
-have a pot luck
- ask someone you know with a good camera to take photos
-use Spotify instead of a DJ
-for a wedding dress. get a used one, hit a sale or just buy a white dress from a regular clothing store.
-limit alcohol. Only buy a couple different things.

I really think its possible to get married with any budget. It’s best to figure out what you’re willing to compromise on and what you’re not. There’s nothing wrong with a small budget wedding!
