Wedding Balloons

Marcia, on May 23, 2018 at 17:39 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 9

When I went to the Wonderful Wedding Show this year, I noticed a lot of vendors were including balloons. I loved the look, and got inspired to use balloons at my wedding. (My flower girls will have a balloon attached to their basket). Which ballon trend is your favourite? Will you be including balloons at your wedding?

A) Ceremony DecorWedding Balloons 1

B) Flower Girl & Page BoyWedding Balloons 2

C) Reception DecorWedding Balloons 3

D) Centre PieceWedding Balloons 4

I totally love the look of balloons for wedding décor but I'm personally newvous about how to execute it properly. I love the look for an outdoor ceremony Smiley smile

They’re beautiful but try to avoid letting them fly off! They can be terrible for the environment. My partner and I do a lot of hiking and come across old balloons in pretty remote places (including a deep canyon in Death Valley).

    I like C.

I'm still startled by the sound of a balloon popping (lol), so I don't see myself incorporating them into my wedding; however, I think they make cute decorations given the bride and groom don't have many child guests.

I think for me it would be A or B but I also don't like the idea of them popping unexpectedly so would never have had them at my wedding.

A or B preferably since people could have glitter in the food during dinner time and not on the ceiling.

I'm not actually a fan of balloons, especially at weddings. Balloons to me are for a kids party. I had thought of ordering the Kate Spade Mr & Mrs balloons but only for photos. Then found out my FSIL is highly allergic to balloons, so I had to veto that lol

I love them both as ceremony decor and as centre peices.

Not sure if we’ll be incorporating balloons but am open to the idea if it’s budget and environmentally friendly.
