Videographer in Ontario

Yeah as soon as he mentioned it I did that and ploped it all in front of him ... and said there ya go I did the leg work lol ... so now he just needs to look at all the numbers and the websites of these people and decide if he really wants it

You should call around for some quotes in the meantime (or have him do it since he wants it). Just so that you have some prices and you are on peoples radar as early as possible

FH is still on the fence if he wants to do this or not ... so I told him he needed to decide by the end of the month .. so we will see, he is the one that brought it up lol

Thanks! I was so happy, our ABSOLUTE max was $600, so it was a happy compromise with our budget and what we wanted. I mainly only cared about the ceremony being recorded anyways

Check out Beautiful Life Studios. We used them in BC but they're based out of Ontario. Photography was our priority so we were looking for a less expensive videographer as well. It did take them a while to get our videos back to us but we just got one of our videos yesterday and they did a great job!

Happy to help! I loved his work and to me having just the ceremony on video is the perfect compromise! (he suggested getting a little footage of us getting ready because it makes for better story-telling in the video, and I totally agree)

Great advice! It would make more sense to have someone who has worked in our venue or at least the area before. I'll check my venues list but I will definitley check out Andrew G Productions as well. Especially because that name rings a bell I think someone else recommended him as well.

FH really wanted a videographer that would take drone footage (pretty much his only request). We couldn't afford a full day because they are very expensive, but we worked with someone that came recommended by our photographer (who has worked our venue and with our photographer before) and we're getting 2ish hours of coverage (a bit of getting ready and the ceremony) with drone footage for $540.

I'm not sure what area you're in but he travels around the GTA and Niagara Region, Andrew G Productions https://www.facebook.com/andrewgproductions/. But you can also check with your venue if they have a prefered list and/or your photographer. It's always good to get people who have worked well together before, they'll have built a relationship and work at not being in eachothers way to help capture everything for you. Also having someone who's been to the venue before is nice, as they may know some great places to film or awesome vantage points.
