Hi all, much like many others, my fiancé and I have had to make changes to our wedding plans this year. We originally planned to get married an hour away from our hometown with about 80 people attending. We’ve decided to cut the guest count in half and try to move the venue to our hometown. My question is, have any of you had experience or know someone that has sold their wedding date before?

Hey Jessica, I'm so sorry you've had to postpone! I've definitely seen people have luck getting someone else to take their date. I'd post your availability on local wedding planning facebook pages, community notice boards like Nextdoor, and I'd ask your venue whether they can help by offering the date to prospective couples. If they can offer the date to couples who contact them you may have luck getting the date passed along. My fingers will be crossed for you!
