Finally got our venue booked and date picked Aug 18 2018. So what comes next.? We have a dj, a mc,and vocalist, and photographer. We got our colors red and black. My mom bought a bunch of fabric and is making tables cloths, napkins, and sashes. We some what have decorations picked out. What should be next and also when would it be a good time to shop for my dress and bridesmaid dresses? Oh and I finally got to send my ring off to get it sized. I can't wait to wear it and show it off. I don't feel engaged not wearing my ring

    Hey Tasha! Congrats!! This is such a great step ahead! You got so much done already! It's definitely a great time to start looking at dresses! You can look at different styles you like, gather inspirations and maybe try on a few before making your final decision.     I totally want my body to change big time lol. I been to one bridal show. It was alright and be going to a different one next month which I hope it's better than the one I went to. I shoukd start looking at justice of the peace. Totally forgot about that lol.

    That's awesome! Congratulations! You have a lot of time that you can use to work out details. Maybe find an officiant? Maybe go to some bridal shows to get some inspiration about what you want to do in terms of decorating and the dress?
    Some may say it's too early for dress shopping because your body can change in a year and a half, but I'm getting married the same month as you and I'm going dress shopping next month.
