Vendors Not Responding

Anyone else having issues with vendors not responding to requests for information for 2021/2022? I am having a really hard time getting information put together. I can understand a lag of a week, but not responding at all is terrible.

    The vendors not responding is a bad thing if their time doesn't seem valuable to clients for business to give them. I will take a stab in saying they may have rescheduling dates that will be more busier than ever right now. Don't give up on trying with vendors to see who gives back answers over others.

    Is anyone else having issues getting vendors to respond through Wedding Wire? I have sent 12 requests for information and received NOTHING back. This is getting aggravating. Trying to set a budget and get ideas and NO ONE will respond. Do businesses just not care right now?

    I agree with Hank and Amanda that no vendor is worth chasing. You’d end up second guessing then the whole time and there’s something to be said about peace of mind.
    One thing I noticed was once we said our wedding was small, lots of vendors lost interest. Sometimes being really upfront with your size and budget helps weed them out faster and you can focus on good vendors that are interested in helping you.

    I'm trying to organize our vow renewal in a small area and vendors are limited as well, so I feel your pain. It does make things frustrating, doesn't it?

    I am having the same issue. Many vendors not responding at all even when I reach out in different ways (email, phone, weddingwire). I have also found if I do reach them eventually, they are taking a long time to respond to questions. It doesn't really give me a great feeling about hiring them, so I usually move on to someone who is more responsive but my options are limited in a small town! UGGHHH

    I agree with Hank. If one is not responding within a certain time frame, I would look at other vendors.

    That's unfortunate. But with some many vendors looking to get business, if one is not providing adequate support or info from the get go, I would move on and look at someone else.
