How many of you are second guessing your vendor team?Are you finding a big difference with the smaller vendors as opposed to the big franchise ones?I have been extremely happy with most of my vendors so far they are quick to answer questions and some have become more like friends throughout this entire covid drama.Some I’m finding will see the message and simply don’t respond or take days or even weeks to answer the emails.Not everyone is living up to what their contracts say I will point it out in my reviews.I know what I want and how I want it done so I don’t really need multiple phone calls or face to face visits BUT my wedding is in 25 days and I haven’t been able to reach some of my team to nail down the final details some of them have been paid in full but others have only been given a deposit.I know I can call on my family and friends to pull the wedding off if things fall apart right at the end but it still sucks.

    I’m finding little things are piling up I have decided to rewash all of our already cleaned plates and thank goodness I did because the packing paper left a film on them.So now that they are washed and dried I have wrapped stacks of them in Saran Wrap before I wrap or nestle them in paper again lol 😂 I can’t wait for this day to get here so we can finally be married.

    Oh no, that’s very frustrating that they are not getting back to you and your wedding is in 25 days! I know it’s been a crazy time, however I really hope that you’ll be able to hear from them soon.

    It's a busy wedding season for most vendors as most will get back to you when they get back from their day of shoot or work and catch up on their emails as well. I did get the same when planning back in 2016/2017 as the vendors did say they will get back to me when they get a chance. I'm glad to hear your happy with your vendor team and yes they do become good friends and business people that will count on you as clients to service any occasion. I know this since I have to get our wedding video redone due to the unprofessional final edit from our wedding. I have contacted my original videographer to get his help to do the job and will on request in the fall.

    That must be so annoying! We are just in the planning stages right now and one venue we looked at is really jerking us around it feels like. It took so long for them to finally respond to my inquiries and get a date set up to go look at it in person, and then we contacted them with some follow up questions a few days after the site visit, and they have never responded. Site visit was July 4th. We have tried to reach out after a week passed by multiple communication methods, and each week since, and NOTHING. Not even a quick note back. And I can tell the messages have been "seen/read". It is beyond frustrating and has really soured me on them as a venue, I'm just envisioning the annoyance of actually having them as a venue and not being reachable in the days leading up to my wedding. I don't get this with vendors, if you don't want the business, just be up front about it, otherwise, you look like a total jerk for literally not responding for a month after multiple communication attempts.

    I have no second guesses with any of our vendors or venue. We love them all and have nothing bad to say about them. They all have been amazing throughout covid and having to postpone twice

    Definitely get those insoles asap! I have 2 possible pairs of wedding shoes and I've started wearing them to hopefully break them in good!

    I'm glad to hear you've gotten one response! I would be panicking too if I was in your shoes! Weddings are stressful enough without Vendors not responding!! 🤞🤞🤞 the other ones respond ASAP!

    Since posting this I have received a follow up message from one of the vendors so that’s cool.I understand wedding season is crazy right now but when I have paid in full I would like to have some say in what we would like for the day.The contracts all say we will sit down again before the 30 day mark to finalize the details but the closer it gets the more I panic lol.I guess I will give it to the 2 week mark before I just do my own thing.

    Our wedding is next May so we don't have many vendors booked. Our photographer has been lovely so far and we haven't even paid our deposit yet!


    But the vendor we want to use for catering is taking what seems like forever to email us our quote. We had our tasting on July 5th and still don't have our quote. We have sent 2 follow up emails so far. We really just want to pay our deposit to lock in our date!
    I hope you get a response soon!! Thats so stressful with you wedding being in a few weeks!
