Can you or how do you Negotiate price with Vendors if it’s the Venue you really want, regardless of your budget?

I would go into meetings with vendors and say that you can only go up to so much but really want them, and see what they can do. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

If it's a venue you're attempting to negotiate price with, sometimes the way to work out a compromise is to give a little on both sides. You could always have less guests, no open bar, host the wedding on an unconventional day, etc.

I tried to negotiate with many vendors on budget and they were getting more expensive with taxes added on top.

Tip: contact indian vendors to get your budget and they will not charge you tax. O paid $1000 each vendor for videography and DJ.

It's worth a try to ask. The real deciding factor on whether they'll do it or not is going to be based on how much lower you want it. Also if they're a venue like mine where they have a standard cost on their website for bookings, and they book up quite easily, they likely won't budge. Either way, just ask. Be honest, and tell them you love the venue but it's not doable for your budget, is there anyway they can bring it down to your budget?

How much lower would you need it to go down out of curiosity?

And if they don't budge, you could try and take a look at your budget for other things and find other things you're willing to cut back on to get your dream venue?

Go by my moto!! It doesn't hurt to ask! If you don't ask you'll never know. And the worst that can happen is that they say no! To be honest as soon as u mention "wedding" to any vendor the price seems to jump..... super annoying.
For me personally I have just mentioned to certain vendors that so and so didn't really fit our budget but if they had any wiggle room it would likely guarantee us booking! Vendors WANT to win your business! They expect people to try and negotiate too!
My biggest piece of advice is just to be super polite when asking, don't try to make it seem like their venue/service is worth less than their price. Make it about you and what you can afford. So no "that's way too expensive!" And more "that's a bit over our budget, would there be something we could do to keep it around ____?"
