We did no less than a 10% tip for any of our vendors. Usually the average from what I’ve heard is 20% but we had x amount of money for tips and had to spread it around but we did the best we could.

Excellent thank you!.. She is her own company so she gets it all and if she chooses to eat we will be paying for her meal, I didn't even think of a favour too though!! I like that idea.

For your DJ I would say that if he/she is their own boss then I would only tip $50 max as they set their price like that and are taking all of that money home. Perhaps just make sure they get a wedding favour if you are doing those?

If he/she works for a company that you contacted and they have been assigned your wedding then I would maybe tip $100-$150 but only if they are really good at what they do and not just providing the service they agreed to do.
